Memorial Services

A memorial service at Pierson's honours someone when the body is not present — most often after cremation in Calgary, or when burial has already taken place. The gathering centres on remembrance, prayer or reflection, and the people who need to be together.

From our Forest Lawn chapel on International Avenue, we help you plan a formal service or a quieter meeting: readings, music, photo displays, urn placement, and reception space if you want it. Timing can follow soon after the death or wait until relatives can travel. We also outline next steps for niches, cemetery placement, or scattering when those decisions are still open.
