Michael Wozniak passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the age of 85 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jean of 60 years; daughter, Jolynne (Bryan) Alger; son, Cory (Alyson); five grandchildren, Victoria, Carter (Belén), Sadie, Claire and Kate; and his many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Veda (Hurst) Wozniak; and sisters, Donna Rae Wozniak, and Gayle Salsman.

Michael enjoyed traveling with his wife, visiting the grandkids, gardening and the occasional Costco hotdog. Mike had a testimony of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving his community. He will be missed by all his friends and family.

Funeral Services will be streamed for all the friends and family who live far away. The link will be shared here closer to the service date.

A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (940 Acadia Drive SE, Calgary, Alberta) on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A Public Visitation will take place in the Relief Society Room at 10:00 a.m.

A Graveside Service will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (1605 100 Street Southeast, Calgary, Alberta).
