Sheena Ruth Nason

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sheena Ruth Nason (née Calhoun) on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 53 years.

Sheena was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, to Beatrice Calhoun (née Nason) and Guy Johnson. Throughout her life, she found joy in life's simple blessings. She filled her heart into loving Jesus every day of her life. She knitted, deeply cared for her pets, and loved music. She had a deep appreciation for God's creation, finding peace in the majestic mountains of the West, and the beauty of walking the Atlantic coast line. She will be remembered for the love she shared for everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Along with her husband of 20 years, Lee Nason, Sheena will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Roger Calhoun (Cynthia); sisters, Neysa Calhoun, Claudia Calhoun (Jim); brother-in-law, Jim Mockler; nieces and nephews, Fonda, Jaime, Aaron, Brandi, Jesse, Colton, Jacob, Harley and Levi. She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice Calhoun (née Nason) and Guy Johnson; sister, Angela Mockler (née Calhoun).

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
